Believe it or not, the special friends in our office are always asking Dr. Jamie to put braces on them. To help with this, our team expanded recently to include Dr. Paul Sauget, an orthodontist with an incredible background!
Besides his dental pursuits, Dr. Paul was an Eagle Scout, played NCAA Division I tennis, served his country as a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Officer, competed in the 2012 Xterra World Championship triathalon, took 1st place in the 2012 Tour de Tinian 100km mountain bike race, plays guitar, scuba dives, loves his dog, and is even an actor.
He sounds a little unreal, we know, but every patient can be confident in his very real orthodontic skills since he graduated with honors from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and earned his certificate in Orthodontics, as well as his Masters of Science in Dentistry degree, at Indiana University. In addition to being a Marine Officer, he was also a dentist at 29 Palms Air Ground Combat Center and Naval Air Station Lemoore for four years between dental school and graduate school. He represented Indiana University at the 2010 American Association of Orthodontists National Conference in Washington, D.C. with one of his patient cases from his residency. After that, he joined his brother’s practice in Guam where he gained valuable experience in a variety of orthognathic surgery and cleft lip/palate cases and brought technological updates to the office. Back in the states, he has been practicing at Aesthetic Orthodontics in Beverly Hills and has now joined our team as well!
We don’t know how he’s fit so much into his life, but we do know that you can trust him with your child’s orthodontic needs!
We hope everyone has a very happy Holiday Season and whether or not it includes braces or Invisalign with Dr. Paul, don’t forget to brush and floss. See you next year!
